reach的基本意思是指人“到達”某地,引申可表示某人與其他人“達成”了一致的意見、協(xié)議等; 用於指物可表示某條道路、路線等“延伸”至某一地方,引申可表示某消息、影響“傳到”某処。
reach既可用作不及物動詞,也可用作及物動詞。用作及物動詞時,接名詞或代詞作賓語,還可接雙賓語,其間接賓語可以轉化爲介詞for的賓語。用作不及物動詞時,常與after, for, to等介詞連用。
reach可用於被動結搆。
