• attempt後可接名詞、代詞、動詞不定式或動名詞作賓語,動詞不定式或動名詞作賓語所表達(dá)的意思幾乎相同,但由於習(xí)慣,用不定式時較多些。
• attempt比較正式,多用於書麪語。
• attempt的過去分詞attempted在句中可用作定語。

• attempt的基本意思是“嘗試”,引申可表示“企圖”,是可數(shù)名詞。
• attempt在句中可用作主語或賓語,其後也可接動詞不定式作定語。
