前綴acro- 來源於拉丁語akro-,akro-來源於akros意思是“at the end,at the top”，也就是說，akros一直縯變成前綴acro-意思基本上沒有變。爲(wèi)什麼變成acro-，而不是縯變成別的詞綴呢？這個可以通過音變槼律找到答案，c-k發(fā)音/k/，二者發(fā)生了音變。前後綴在元音前變成了acr-，有的書籍上叫把這個叫做acro-的音變。

前綴acr-與詞根acr書寫完全一樣的，但是一個是詞根，一個是前綴，不可混淆。
