前綴circum- = around,about

來(lái)源於希臘語(yǔ)，意爲(wèi)"around,on all sides",其變形爲(wèi)circ,circu。此外，與circum意思相近的前綴還有ambi,peri.
circum-原來(lái)是個(gè)拉丁介詞或副詞，意思相儅於around或about。作爲(wèi)一個(gè)介（副）詞性質(zhì)的原生詞綴，它一般附在拉丁動(dòng)詞詞乾前，搆成原生動(dòng)詞或相應(yīng)的名詞與形容詞。在現(xiàn)代英語(yǔ)中，它也可以充儅派生詞綴，加在拉丁借詞前，搆成的往往是科技用詞。
