cold的基本意思是“冷的,寒冷的”,指以體溫為標(biāo)準(zhǔn)而感到外界的氣溫低,常用于指溫度或天氣。在表示人的感情時(shí)還可指“冷淡的,不熱情的”,指對(duì)某人或某物感到漠不關(guān)心,此時(shí)多用作定語。
be cold用作謂語時(shí),后面可接動(dòng)詞的現(xiàn)在分詞形式。

cold作名詞時(shí)有二個(gè)意思:一是指相對(duì)于身體的溫度來說,溫度較低,使人感到冷,即“冷,寒冷”; 二是指由于天氣寒冷而引起的“傷風(fēng),感冒”。
