虛擬語氣用在wish后的賓語從句中，（常常省去連詞that），表示不可能實現的愿望。
1.表示與現在事實相反的愿望
構成：
主語 + wish (that) + 從句主語 + 動詞過去式 （be 一律用were）
例如：
I wish I knew everything in the world.
I wish that the experiment were a success.
We wish we had wings. 我們希望有翅膀。
