The Aim:

Lead a comprehensive public relations campaign to maximize press exposure for one of the world’s largest travel management companies in the run-up to, and during, the Global Business Travel Association Convention in Chicago.

What WE Did:

With several members of BCD’s global leadership team on the ground in Chicago, Dots & Lines worked with BCD’s internal communications team to identify key thought leadership topics for each executive. We used this information to craft super-targeted pitches and successfully secure interviews with attending travel trade press and major media outlets, including The Wall Street Journal. Dots & Lines also prepared and distributed several media releases to gain press coverage and pre-event interviews in the weeks leading to the convention.

Outcome:
    • Grew earned media by 175% from the prior year*
    • Gained BCD 87% more earned media than attending mega-TMC competitors
    • Achieved five-fold return in news coverage earned through distributed press releases
