Katharine W. Farrell


Katharine was named president of Dots & Lines in April 2018. She previously served as product line director of the marketing division of GoldSpring Consulting, an independent travel management consultancy. Prior to joining GoldSpring, Katharine worked in sports marketing and communications with professional and collegiate teams, as well as large-scale special events. Katharine currently serves as an Alumni Advisor for GBTA Ladders and previously served as the Co-Chair of the GBTA Ladders Media & Communications committee. She is a current member of WINiT, where she previously served as a member of the Conference & Event Planning Committee and a WINiT mentee from 2016 to 2017. She earned both her undergraduate degree and MBA from Wake Forest University.

Julie Sickel

Managing Director, EMEA

Julie joined Dots & Lines in January 2020 to establish and lead operations for the company in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Julie previously led marketing content creation for the B2B corporate travel arm of HRS. Prior to HRS, she served as lodging editor of Business Travel News and managing editor of Travel Procurement. Julie earned her MBA from NYU’s Leonard N. Stern School of Business’ Langone Program with specializations in marketing and management of technology & operations.



Mark Williams

Mark serves as CFO for Dots & Lines. He previously served as a partner with GoldSpring Consulting with responsibility for operations as well as sales, client delivery, and administration. Prior to starting GoldSpring in January 2014, Mark was a Principal at Advito, the consulting division of BCD Travel. Prior to Advito, he held roles in the Business Transformation Outsourcing practice at IBM. Mark began working in the travel industry in the late 1980s with WorldTravel Partners, followed by 10 years as the Director of Travel for Price Waterhouse and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Prior to his work in travel management, Mark worked for Price Waterhouse in the tax practice. He began his career in the front office of the Atlanta Braves where he was responsible for various accounting functions in the baseball operation. Mark is a Certified Public Accountant, has a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Wake Forest University, a Master of Taxation degree from Georgia State University, and is a former president of the Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE).

Stan Berteloot


Stan is a multicultural executive with over 25 years of marketing, communication, and business development experience.
He brings to the Dots & Lines clients his passion for creating growth and creating compelling stories in challenging B2B environments. Stan has over 17 years of experience in the business travel industry.
Stan is behind the reputation and success of KDS, a leading software company providing a cloud-based B2B travel & expense management solution now part of Amex GBT. He has also served as ACTE EMEA director and is a founding member of GBTA France.
Stan graduated with a BA in Journalism from The University of Maryland.


Bill brings more than 30 years of experience in the global travel management industry with an emphasis in marketing and business development to the Dots & Lines team. Prior to joining Dots & Lines, Bill was the Director of Global Marketing and Sales Support for Radius Travel, one of the industry’s largest networks of global travel agencies. He also previously worked as a Director of Marketing for BCD Travel. Bill is a creative force with solid communications skills and is an expert at visual communications as well as sales proposal strategies. Bill earned his BA in English and a BS in Business Administration at Tulane University in New Orleans.



Chris Crowley brings a wealth of experience to the Dots & Lines team. In his 25 years in the managed travel industry, he has directed sales to multinational clients in the Asia/Pacific and EMEA regions and served in leadership roles like BCD Travel EMEA SVP and Association of Corporate Travel Executives president. Prior to joining Nina & Pinta as Partner in November 2019, he most recently served as VP for EMEA operations, overseeing sales and account management for global hotel solutions provider HRS. In his role with Nina & Pinta, Chris works closely with Dots & Lines, continuing to develop its business in EMEA, including the expansion of the joint areas of expertise in industry thought leadership and events.


Abby joined the Dots & Lines team in May 2018. Prior to joining Dots & Lines, Abby worked as the Assistant Director of Digital Communications for Chick-fil-A in Austin, TX, where she led the franchise’s Social Media, Graphic Design, Public Relations, and Event Planning efforts. In 2017, she graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Leadership, a Business Minor and a Communications Minor. During her time at Texas A&M, she held two different internships with
BCD Travel where she was introduced into the travel industry.
